About Us

Bret, his wife Daniela and three kids, have lived in Kansas City for the past 12 years. Bret has served and given leadership in various capacities at the International House of Prayer since 2010. Bret’s primary job is held as an intercessor in the IHOPKC 24/7 Global Prayer Room leading in prayer.  He is also the director of New Staff Mentoring as well as a teacher for internships, the Immerse program and an online facilitator for IHOPU specialty classes.  Periodically he also teaches singers and musicians on the mission base’s “harp & bowl model” which is what Is used to create a simple context for 24/7 prayer and worship.  Occasionally, he does itinerant ministry for various churches and organizations.  His largest “side project” is laying out a “phrase by phrase, verse by verse”, in one minute segments,  TikTok video commentary which would walk a person through the book of Revelation.   

It is with great conviction for the “urgency of the hour” that we be raising this next generation like Daniel of the Old Testament, with hearts engaged in prayer and fasting, skill to understand; as well as voices of boldness like John the Baptist in the New Testament, declaring the return of the Lord, because we are friends with the Bridegroom. We “behold the Lamb of God”, becoming like Him AND prepare the nations of the earth for His return, that all things would be restored!
